They were probably scared that if they dispatched it on the monday nobody would get it on time. Think how many orders they'll have had to go through. Friday/Saturday would've probably been the safest time to dispatch it.
I ordered it from amazon UK. Was really hoping I'd get it today but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
