there was this website that you put 3 bands in that you like and it gives you a band you might like, i forgot what the website is called though, has anybody heard of it ? if so could you please link me ?

last.fm does what you're talking about, so that might be it. if not, it's still cool and you should use it.
pandora.com, very good website does exactly that, infact I'm listening to it right now.

use last.fm it's the same thing and tracks the songs you listen on the site and through itunes/wmp/foobar/etc and your ipod
im trying to, its just giving me really strange bands and isn't recognizing some of the bands i put in.
