I have heard pink is a girl color countless times and every time I say "No, it's a color" Where did this come from? Have you heard this before?
pink is color that generally indicates feminine stuff it's become rather commonplace with people so deal with it I suppose

Pink is a nice colour and I don't care what you say. [editline]28th June 2011[/editline] Well except hot pink, that's ugly.
There is no boy color :smith:

A lot of modern cultures group females with pink and males with blue. It's one of those small cultural things that sociologists like to jerk off over.
Pink used to be considered a boys colour anyway.
Orange all the way
It's not only that Pink is associated with girls, but most modern cultures would correspond it with gayness if a male liked the colour. Also females tend to like bright colours while they usually burn the eyes of a male. But it is not a universal constant, you may find girls that hate pink and love Black and Dark red, so it's all about egos really.
why are certain colors correlated with gender
I like the colour pink. I just don't like when guys at my school wear like, pink, above-knee shorts, that or tight jeans, its like they're trying to look as gay as they possibly can.
A town in pink is truly punk!
I like red.
