Time to bring my 3DS on walks with me again.

I welcome new ways to use these coins. So far they have always been useless for me.

Already at 300 coins. Can I buy them all at once?

The only mention of play coins is a toggle to pay with them; it's not showing the cost for them.

This is a nice idea. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who hasn't even gotten half of the trophies in a Smash Bros.

If they click well but don't always respond in-game it's most likely a dust-related problem.

Oh good. That said, I've been spending lots of my coins on Puzzle Swap pieces lately since I was getting close to 300. Out of the panels I have, I'm at 2XX/11XX pieces or something. I've had this thing since Christmas 2011 and I've only managed to complete two panels...
