That looks even larger than the first Rome's campaign map

It is still small, IMO.

Keep in mind that this comes from someone who enjoys playing EU3(with map mods).

At least it is somewhat bigger then the first Rome and comes close to some of the maps of the mods released for that(namely Roma Surrectum 2).
Hopefully the battles will be better since that is what makes Total War special.

I really hope they got rid of squalor. Jesus christ that was the most annoying part of the campaign.
