Buy Fallout 3 GOTY (PC) or wait for New Vegas?

I own Fallout 3 on PS3 but want it on PC because it's cheaper and I get all the official DLC with it.

Should I buy that RIGHT NOW or wait for New Vegas? Or get Fallout 3 to tide me over for New Vegas?

Vegas doesn't even have a release date yet.

New Vegas is made by the original development studio of Fallout and Fallout 2 which was 2d. So be prepared for a whole different game in New Vegas.

Also does Fallout 3 use games for windows live?

Where'd you hear this? I haven't heard anything about that, except they said it was just going to be another game in the Fallout universe.

Not sure. Ideally you'll probably want to pick up both.
If you have to choose one, get Fallout 3, since it's a great game that's available now; and the GOTY is just all the sweeter.

Don't have a direct sauce, but I've also read that it's gonna use the FO3 (Oblivion) engine. Positive about that.
