Thinking about buying a ps3

I have been thinking about buying a ps3 because it looks very fun and i would love to play
little big planet 2.
But im unsure how good it is and if i would just be wasting my money.
So im asking you folks if its a fun console and if i should go for it.

P.S Im not going with an Xbox360 lol

I don't have a ps3, but because of the problem with PSN at the moment I think you should wait.

But I can be wrong. Not sure how it goes for PSN.

It's a console, the games are what make it fun. LBP2 is good. I think if you get a PSN account now, then when the PS Store goes back up you could get a free copy of LBP too if you wanted.

The PlayStation Network is back up now so you can play on line once again.

There isn't really much to it. If you want to play PS3 exclusive games, get a PS3. The Move is also a pretty fun/superior alternative to a Wii if you like motion controlled games too and obviously it is a Blu-Ray player, so you can play some orgasmic HD movies with it too.

The only thing wrong with the PS3 is that it's from 2006 and there aren't a whole lot of games that you can get for it that you wouldn't be better off getting for a PC instead any way.

Uh no the free games are only for accounts before the shut down
