IMO this "season pass" is better than a lot of the other "season pass" things that companies are doing.
Except Borderlands 2. Their pass is justified because their DLC is fucking awesome every time.
Well, they wanted to appeal to Call of Duty's audience, and so they did.

Well most season passes don't lower the value of the initial product post-release like Battlefield Premium does.
Seeing the time I put into this game, both the original price and Premium were good value for me. I hope they're not going to force this further with BF4 though. They should never go down the CoD-road of charging stupid prices for a few small maps.
I haven't got a problem with premium so long as its essentially expansion packs and not just a couple of maps.

Godamn, that site sums up everything that made me rage-uninstall the game.
Especially the premium fucking. everywhere. bit.
I bought premium and that was a huge mistake. the DLC are abysmal and uninteresting after five minutes of gameplay
That resentfulness toward premium players the exact reason I uninstalled BF3. It felt like playing APB all over again.
Normally I would be fine with all premium shenanigans, I wouldn't care one bit for it.
But as I have come to realize is that this kind of thing spreads to other games.
