The problem is, this video shows the same mission achieving the "Silent Assassin" perfect ranking:

In which you go out in front of everyone, remove your mask in front of the crowd, snap Sanchez's neck in front of the crowd without your mask on, and then put the mask on and leave, and that's the only way you get Silent Assassin.

It makes perfect sense. Silent Assassin = it was an accident, no one knows an actual hit has happened, no one knows an assassin was even there. A wrestler getting killed in an illegal wrestling fight = an accident, no one would even think it's a hit.

Yeah, that can make sense, but is that the sort of thing you would expect from a stealth game? The point is, the first video shows a run where it very easily could have been a completely stealthy kill had the player been more careful, but the only way to achieve the silent assassin ranking is to do the wrestling thing. You can't get it otherwise.

I don't want to watch that other video, but does it show the target being killed in an accident that could not be traced back as being a hit?

The first video shows the player sneaking in, using disguises, to get up to the backstage area to make the lighting around the arena fall on Sanchez, killing him. So yeah, it's a much better accident than his neck being snapped in front of hundreds of people.

Hitman isn't just a stealth game, the idea is to get the job down however you can. Sure, the game has a lot of stealth elements, but they've never been required to finish the games to my knowledge.
Now, that particular ending does seem a bit ridiculous for stealth assassin, but I can see why the other guy did not get stealth assassin - he got detected and killed a guy unrelated to the goal. Are you sure the only way to end the mission 'perfectly' is the fight kill?

Exactly, it would of made no sense for the first video to get silent assassin, to expect you would after doing that would be completely ridiculous.

he also killed maintenance workers. Thus, no silent assassin rating. Maybe once someone does a video of doing the lighting drop WITHOUT KILLING ANYONE OR BEING DETECTED, you'll see that you can get Silent Assassin.

I think to be honest it giving out the silent assassin rating is some sort of bug or glitch. As long as it toned down the rating I honestly think not many people would have cared about this part of the game in the first place.
The game probably considers it an accident kill.
Honestly I don't see why people are so upset about it. The rest of the game looks brilliant.
Honestly I wouldn't mind that scene if it wasn't so overdone. The guy's neck is thicker than his head and 47 still snaps it like a twig. It should've been something more subtle like using a nail that's sticking out of the cage (it looked pretty shoddily made anyway) or something that actually makes it seem like an accident.
Still looking forward to the game though.
