Well hopefully the better movement system will entice more buyers and not piss off the boring people who for some reason don't want that in their shooters. Which I'm pretty sure don't even exist.
It would be pretty depressing if Ghosts sell more than this.
tbh this does look really quite good for a cod game.
First CoD I bought since MW1 and not regretting it, besides the lag (no dedicated servers, why) it's a lotta fun.
I was playing AW from the 1st of November and the connection was fine, it did have the odd drop to 1 red bar throughout the matches but since Monday it has gotten a lot worse.. It is no fun with people constantly rubber banding, juddering and getting no shot reg on them.
I'd possibly buy it if it didn't get followed by the horrendous DLC season pass price, and the content released with the DLC(zombies).

Of course they are optimistic. Did anyone expect them to spend millions on advertising and such because they wanted it to bomb? As funny as it would be for a company to do so, it isn't the case.
You don't really need the season pass though.
At some point you will though, if you want to keep playing with everyone else after they've moved on to the inevitable new maps.

You can play Battlefield 3, 4 perfectly fine without premium, and you can play the CoDs fine without map packs.
I've had Advanced Warfare come up as a recommended game multiple times. The thing is it came up as a recommendation because I viewed some pinball game, RPG Maker VX DLC and a bunch of things far away from shooters/Call Of Duty. I take it they are so "optimistic" that they went borderline spammer by having it get recommended by merely having Steam open? It could more so be because I have two of them tied to my Steam account(again, my brother bought them and couldn't be bothered to make a Steam account.......).
We were open at midnight to sell the game and nobody came. The EB games across the parking lot didn't even open.
I'll be buying it, for one.
First CoD since MW1 that actually has me interested. How long is the singleplayer?

'cos on MW2 I didn't have any dlc and I got booted pretty much every 2-3 maps out of the lobby because I didn't have the DLC. You'd have to restart finding a lobby the whole time. It's pretty shitty imo.

Tbh a wet sponge would sell better than Ghosts. That game waa a disaster and everyone knows it
We were open at midnight to sell the game and nobody came. The EB games across the parking lot didn't even open.
I feel like that's because of the whole Day Zero thing. People might've been confused as to when it really came out. Idk, I didn't pay much attention to this game before release and I wasn't sure when it was really coming out.
