I've never had a Kodak digital camera that wasn't complete shit.

mostly they had low-end camera models, but if they stop making digital sensors for companies like Leica, it's going to be really bad.

I had some family friends that got laid-off at Kodak, hope this doesn't affect the other parts of the company too much.

As sad as it is, Kodak aren't important in the camera world anymore. Apart from a few select components, they won't be missed. I just wished they still produced film.
Kodak cameras haven't really been impressive these last 10 years, now it's all about Nikon vs. Canon, at least in the DSLR market.

Oh when I read they'd quit the digital market I tought they would miracously focus (heh heh) on producing film again. Printers are cool too I guess.
