I'm getting pretty fucking pissed off at this point because all I get from the Linux Mint forums are snotty, smartass remarks like "Getting pissed off won't help though will it?" after no responses for about two weeks. I installed Linux Mint to a 125GB external Solid State Drive that's connected via USB. It won't boot from USB simply through the BIOS so I made a Super Grub boot CD and I tried to navigate to the drive, then the partition and then boot and I get a big fucking "Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format". I've been fucking trying to get this to work for weeks, I've fucked up the MBR an incomprehensible amount of times and reinstalled about ten times. I'm about to blow up a daycare center.
Just install Windows 7 on it.

1. I don't want to.
2. It's impossible.
3. Fuck you Connor the repitilians pyramids cthulhu barack obama new world demon nazi wolfenstein.
You have an internal drive right? The easiest thing might be to put /boot on the internal drive, and / on the external.
I'm not familiar with Mint's installer, but do a manual partition edit. Create a small partition as ext2, and where it says "mountpoint" put /boot, and that goes on your internal drive.
Create a large partition on your external as ext3 or ext4 and where it says "mountpoint" put /

This will make it so you don't have to boot off USB. It'll boot off the internal drive, which is really simple, and then it'll mount the USB drive.

If I try to install a boot loader on the internal it either gives me error 27 or 15 or any number of other ones.

Linux Mint Forums aren't Facepunch's Fast Threads. They are intelligent forums where people are respectful to one another, and they don't post every 5 seconds.
You can always try the Ubuntu forums as well, since Mint is just a heavily modified Ubuntu, alot of things are the same.
