Also I recommend getting the dukeplus mod, it adds vertical mouse support. Not that it matters much to the gameplay but it does feel a lot better to play. Hopefully they'll add it to the workshop if possible.

From what I'm seeing of the workshop, it's map files only. Sucks, but it's not like you can't download the map, then open it in dukeplus.
I guess the article writer doesn't know that you need Eduke to run that DNF mod? So you'd need to also download a new source port to play it.
That pun in the title. Very subtle.
Just read it too, I guess the writer is actually talking about the Forever mod for Duke3D
The mouse controls in Megaton Edition are super awkward to me, like even adjusting the sensitivity doesn't help. I think it has something to do with the amount of acceleration there is when moving the mouse.

The title isn't referring to the mod, its referring to playing the Game forever.
Want to play Duke Nukem forever? No, not Forever, the infamous, trashy, awful recent sequel. I mean, do you want to spend an eternity playing Duke Nukem 3D,
I own it on GoG :(

This is why I primarily buy my games on Steam

I don't remember using a mouse for the original when I was a kid. Was it keyboard only then or am I mistaken?
If you want, there is a DUKE3D mod which is how Duke Nukem Forever was meant to be

if you want to see how it's like in action, just ignore the pleb talking

I still need to try this but I read up on this and thought you would be interested
I think it's simpler to make a fun and good looking map in Doom, but DN3D isn't all that much harder
The problem is that we're still stuck with DOS editing tools. I don't know if the community has come up with a new editor like Doom Builder but Megaton still comes with the very first editor released (BUILD)

there's been an updated editor for a while called mapster32
there's been an updated editor for a while called mapster32
People say Mapster32 comes with Eduke32 but I've downloaded like 5 copies of that and none came with the executable for mapster
I think I'm going crazy
i didn't see it in the latest build, but you can get it in one of the snapshots

It's from 09 though
