http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gameplay-design-metro-last/730549 new vidya
Been waiting for this game for so longggg
My body is ready.
Also another one
That, video.
goddamn.
Metro 2033 is the best FPS since hl2 IMO.
huh, looks like the demo goes back to scaring the shit out of you instead of the action bits, I WANT IT
Is it me or are the graphics worse than 2033? When they were getting on that plane the textures looked really bad, I don't usually complain about graphics but when they look inconsistent between objects next to each other it really bugs me, although it could just be that it's still in development, so I won't actually bother with it until we get closer to release.

They could be playing the console version.
I may be alone in this but I preferred the nuclear winter rather than the "recovering" wasteland. It just feels too much like the standard ruins + overgrown mutant plants post-apocalyptic setting.
I hope they keep the old watch that Metro 2033 had, the new one doesn't really fit the game.
That new live action video is awesome. The game itself looks even better. I can barely wait for this.

For some reason I found it somewhat fitting.
Fucking spiders. Can't wait to burn them.

This new one is more practical in my opinion.

Being a fullblown ranger now, it kinda does.
Though it is alittle too futuristic, I can agree on that, should be more like a actual digital watch, not what seems to be a super-high-tech rolex.
i really don't know why they didn't stick closer to the book
like the live action trailer, that's not what happened with Artyom when he was a baby, it was similar but why not just have what happened to him in the book

Was it even confirmed that the baby was Artyom? Pretty sure it wasen't.
And Last Light is completely separate from 2034, this game is about Artyom as a Ranger whilst 2034 is about Hunter.

Because although it is a good read, the book is extremely boring and would be a horrid video game?
No one ever said that was Artyom either.
Seriously who cares.
who else would it be other than Artyom

The second book was shit. It completely ignored all the crap to do with the Dark Ones and the only good part was the fact they established there was life outside of Moscow.
This is following up on Artyom and his interaction with the Dark Ones which is clearly the bigger issue than what happens with Hunter.
who else would it be other than Artyom
Any of the other freaking hundred young people in the entirety of the metro?
are you kidding me, it even says 20 years later before he walks out of the metro
and what happened in the live action trailer is very similar to what actually happened to Artyom when he was a baby
Artyom was carried in to the metro, by his mother who lived and who later died as a horde of mutated rats rushed the station they lived at. He was taken care of by his 'Uncle'.
The live action trailer was nothing like that, so don't even try it.
it's similar, and there's no reason it would just be a random person
she handed him to his "uncle" whom was a soldier at the time as they were fleeing the station, like the woman in the trailer hands the baby to the uniformed man

Wow a 20 year old it must be him!
Why should it NOT be a random person? Hell, hundreds of movies have pulled that trick before, even gametrailers have.
I can pull out the book right now and read it then watch the Live Action trailer and see no similarity other than the fact that there is a baby and it's in Moscow, nukes are falling etc etc.
That baby is not Artyom, end of.
On that actually: How do you even know the man walking out of the station at the end of the trailer IS Artyom?
so now you're saying you know for a fact it's not artyom?
tell me why they wouldn't change something like that around when they changed so much from the first game?
you never had all sorts of crazy adventures with Bourbon in the book, Artyom only knew him for a little bit before he died in the tunnel, yet in the game you're with him for a while and you fight off all these bandits only for him to get killed by the bandit leader guy
