I love how betting has become such a srs thing with CSGO, it's pathetic. 90% of viewers don't give a shit about the gameplay or the tournaments, they just care about winning bets and gay little skins. CS has become a joke.
The same can be said for dota.
MOBAs are trash too.
MOBAs are trash too.
MOBAs are worse then CS, really, the community is a hundred times more toxic and hateful Hell, CS community can actually be helpful sometimes

You have to deal with manchildren all the time and everyone is up at each other's throats. Play with friends and it becomes a much friendlier experience, even when you get too hyped and you end up fighting with your friends over stupid shit. Same can be said about a lot of free to play games, they're generally much more likable and fun if you actually play with people you know. Otherwise the community will get the better of you really quick. The e-sports scene is trash eitherway.
90%? That's one hell of a statistic..
It is. But I've yet to see a chat not full of death threats to a team because they're losing that particular person skins. (Death threats is a bit extreme, but in general.)

From everyone and their mother wanting to be "pro", to betting, everything just seems so bland and boring now.
The same can be said for dota.
The same can be said for every sport or competitive event ever.

It's more or less the equivalent of fans in a stadium cheering for their team at the top of the lungs, in an the environment of pseudonymity (where people are dickheads as long as they can get away with it) and high chat speed (where only copypasta gives people a chance to get heard as part of a group).

It just goes with the territory.
Dat comment
I swear this guy comments on ALL PCGamesN news. And it's always something stupid.
