So today I decide to get Google chrome. I regret getting it. TO LATE. This fucker is fast. Loads up right way goes to the page I want with no freezing or lag. I would recommend it to anyone. If you have a fast computer already or if you have a slower. I have 1 gig of ram on this computer right now. This computer is just for browsing and sh*t. This is now my permanent browser.
If you had any problems or anything that you would like to post please do so. I want to hear your experience with Google chrome.
This has a great spell checker . :)
Too bad its apparently missing a grammar checker.
Eh, I didn't like Chrome. The biggest issue was the lack of add-ons that I use constantly. I can't go without them. So, until Chrome has Ad-block, Twitterfox (or the equivalent), something that makes the bookmark toolbar multi-line, GooglePreview, Gmail Notifier, and DownThemAll! I won't be switching. Also, I found the UI kinda ugly.

Well I'm in a hurry. Just trying to spread the word about the software. Why so mean <3?
Chrome has no Xmarks or Adblock which makes me sad, without them I'm more happy with Firefox. :)
Only reason I dislike Chrome is because Photobucket doesn't support it. :(
It also looks nicer than Firefox.
Yes it does.

I don't understand your algorithm.
I keep wanting to get it but I'm pretty much fine with FF for now.

Actually, there IS an AdBlock-like extension for Chrome.
http://www.adsweep.org/
It requires use of the latest dev build, however.
Not like that's a problem, right? :v:
I like it. I'm not really big on extensions, so it's perfect for me. To the above dude, there is an adblock extension, but I think that's about it on the extension front until they fully release extensions on the public builds. Though I don't think people are going to be too happy with them since it seems they aren't going to let extensions have a ton of gui space like firefox does.

Oh wow, cheers for mentioning this. I'm behind the times so much..
I use Privoxy as a alternative to Ad-block when using Chrome. It has the added benefit of filtering all HTTP activity, not just within your browser.
Well, the only real problem with that is that it's out of development and hard to modify..So if anything "new" comes out, it won't be blocked by that most likely.
But by the time Chrome 3 is public, I think we'll get a better extension and/or someone will take over that one.
There's no IDM support for it.
I liked it but it was a bit slow on loading websites than my Firefox and got some rare occurrence where the website would be 'down' but they really weren't.
I love my Google Chrome, it looks fantastic with aero too.
does it have mouse wheel click scroll yet?

i had a 3000 series so i decided to skip the 4000 series and get a 5000 when they come out
I tried Chrome, but I can't seem to use anything but Opera. I mean, so many damn features, and, on my computer anyway, it's the fastest browser, period.
100/100 Acid3 score is also something to brag about, compared to Chrome's 78/100.

I tried out chrome, and I never went back to firefox.
There is indeed an ad-blocker, but it is a script and you have to launch chrome through the same shortcut every time for it to work. Chrome however does a lot of things very well, for example the 'non intrusive' status bar at the bottom, and how the tabs are organized at the top of the browser menu (which for some reason looks really good). The home page is very useful, and Chrome can work with the rest of the programs that Google has somewhat well.
yeah, imo it's really really nice looking.

By the way, you can download the latest dev builds of chromium from http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/?C=M;O=D
they work great in my experience.
When I build PC's, the ones that I have to put OS's on, I make chrome the default but I include Firefox, and Opera with it just so they can choose. I also add steam and stuff :d.

It's had it for a long time now.
"30X faster"
I doubt it's actually 30 times faster. BUTANYWAY, why need a faster page-loading anyway? Do pages really load that slowly? I mean, for me, it's 5 seconds tops.
Im missing my chrome right now. All I have is FF on my moms laptop.
Thanks, but I'll stick to my Firefox
