This video is utter bullshit. Of course people want to learn the big picture, that's obvious. But today's technology and society are no longer simple enough to facilitate that. In fact, because people always try to seek the "big picture", the media constantly tries to sell one to them (even when it's on subjects so complicated they can hardly be compressed into a simple), creating more ignorance and making people believe that if it can't be explained in 5 minutes, then it's not worth bothering with.
