9900GT Vs HD 4850 - Hardware & Software

Well I'm planning go get the HD 4580 by ATI but my friends are saying that the 9900GT is beter. Which should I choose?

My 9800gt works just fine with my hardware :smug: In fact i get around 30-60 fps on enthusiast on crysis depending on whats going on.

You good sir, have Nvidia fanboy friends, the nvidia fanboy (Keggs_ious Twatious or Darkridium Asshatious) can be a viscous creature that lashes out at the mention of ATI, there is no cure for this disease, even bombing them with benchmarks has no effect on their brainwashed "the way it's meant to be played" mind.

4850 is better. The 4850 competes with the 9800gtx+ and the gts250 from nvidia. Don't be fooled by your "the way it's meant to be played" friends. Fanboys will always say their favorite company is better, even if it's proven that they're not. Of course there is a difference between the 512 mb and 1 gb models.

4850 although get a 4870 if you can spend a little extra or get a 4890 if you can spend a lot extra (I'm guessing you can't)
