I want to use Ebay to sell stuff. Are there alternate ways to get paid?

To simplify it for you all, my mother doesn't trust using paypal for payments for a reason she won't give me.
So I wanna know if I can ask for direct money instead.
I've never sold anything on Ebay so I'm not sure, but surely there should be an option for the buyer to do a direct deposit into your bank account? I doubt it but.
How come your mother is involved with this, do you not have your own PayPal?
Well, I did get scammed off of an old laptop of mine whilst using PayPal, but that was because I trusted a phishing email. Have a mother take a look at PayPal's website, and tell her that her credit card probably wouldn't work without it.

Well she thought it was an online bank think.
I showed her the info recently and now she's sorta alright with it. And no I don't have a paypal since I don't have an account, since I don't have income.

We use debit cards, should work.
Im a proficient Ebay Seller and the only way you can get paid really is through a paypal account. Paypal accounts have their own balance system that doesnt go through a creditcard or bank account, its called Paypal Balance or something like that. You dont even really need a bank account. Just confirm your account with some visa gift card and your good to go. Like with other selling things you wont get your money right away. With ebay you will get your money about 2-3 days after the package has ARRIVED at its destination.
Edit:
Paypal acts as a middlemen kinda deal. The buyer will pay PAYPAL (not you) and then once the item has gotten there Paypal will transfer the funds over to you.
