Because it's pretty low priced, comes with quite a decent amount of content, the gameplay looks generic but not bad, and the devs are claiming they're going to offer full mod support, which is great and really hard to find in a modern game.

i don't expect anything less from 505 games. they've published anything from the artsy brothers a tale of two sons, to the fun payday 2 and terraria, to hype as fuck games like MAHLOW BRIGGS AND THE MASK OF DEATH

505 gave us Men of War too. MoW is amazingly fun, it's also incredibly broken at times.
