• Silverlight: "Unable to Install Silverlight" All I wanna do is watch Netflix

Okay, so I was watching some shows on Netflix a few months ago on my PC, and everything was fine. But I usually watch on my PS3 in my living room, so I didn't use PC Netflix for a good 3-4 months. Yesterday, when I came back to watch a show on PC I got the error saying I need to install Silverlight. I know this is an error because like I said, I was watching stuff fine a few months ago, and I didn't remove silverlight from my PC or anything. When I went to re-download it, it downloaded and I clicked install. As soon as I clicked install it went literally a quarter of a second on the install screen and then said "Unable to install" with no other error codes. I've tried completely wiping Silverlight from my PC and reinstalling it, I used the CleanSilverlight.cmd command, I've used Microsoft's Fix-it-for-me service, and nothing worked. All I wanna do is catch up on Dexter. Can any of you help me?
Okay it turns out there were internal software issues with Windows Installer, .Net etc. I don't know how they got fucked up but I found out how to fix it. go into cmd and type "sfc/scannow" without quotes, once the scan is complete restart your computer and everything should be fixed. I'm leaving this here incase anyone else has the same issue.
