Something smells of burning rubber. (Need a New PSU)

So I returned to the apartment to find the smell of burning electronics and discovered that the smell was coming from my PSU. So now I am looking for a good 600W+ PSU with 2 x 6pins connectors.
I would like to stay below $100 so here is what I've found. Any help would be awesome.

CORSAIR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005
APEVIA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148022
Specs:
Intel C2Q Q9550 @ 2.83Ghz (will OC)
EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW
Kingston HyperX 6Gb DDR2 1066mhz
250Gb seagate
750Gb WD
750Gb WD
Creative X-Fi Titanium
*dying* Rosewill 500W
The PSU in question was a 500W Rosewill BUT before you think "oh there is your problem" I've had this for over 2 years and just recently upgraded my computer so I was now running a Q9550 and a GTX 275 on it and that finished it.
EDIT
Thanks for the input, decided to go with the OCZ ModXStream Pro
if you're willing to pay that much, the corsair
if you want something a little cheaper and modular, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018&cm_re=modxstream-_-17-341-018-_-Product

Thanks I am going to go with this one. Didn't see it when I was looking.
That is a good deal i must say
Or there is a 600w version for 49.99 but thats good
Ok I can't decide between these two.
OCZ ModXStream 700W $90.98 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018
or
OCZ StealthXStream 700W $79.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019
Is the only difference between the two the modular cables? If so I'll go with the StealthXStream.
go modxstream, modular = better cable management

Do NOT go with Apevia. I had one burn out after not even a year.
