i really hope this game bombs miserably, and ubisoft take a step back to realize how fucking dumb they were
would it be cool if you play as new agile sam for like 3 hours, then old sam comes out and chokeslams him and then you play as OG sam for the rest of the game?
it would be the most incredible bait-and-switch in gaming history

Ha this game is going to fail so fucking hard, fuck you Ubisoft for ruining a great franchise.
I was put off by the original gameplay videos but there is actually a fair amount of stealth in the game.
They're going back more towards the original 3 or 4.
I dont like how you can still run and gun through it though, that was never the focus of splinter cell.
Fuck, that's just too much DLC shit in those. I hope those suits, missions and weapons won't stay exclusive.

Hitman is pretty much becoming the new Splinter Cell anyway.
I played Conviction, then i played Absolution, SC:C feels like a beta version of Hitman Absolution.
fuck, i'm okay with the super aggressive stealth shit like from conviciton, because apparently you can actually hide bodies and go nonlethal now
but one thing i don't like is how they suddenly made sam some super agile new-voice motherfucker. sam's like 50 years old or something, he can't go running around like crazy. he's old as shit, so he needs to be all stealthy and slow
could have just named him "JOHN FISHER" or "BOB FISHER" instead, would save the old fisher's image
A news article awhile back, don't ask me for a source because I don't have it, said that you could play the entire level that was demo'd to them non-lethal and stealthily.
I am tentatively looking forward to it but I still think it was a huge mistake to recast 55 year old Sam Fisher with a 20 year olds voice. Should have just made a new character or even rebooted the franchise with a fresh protagonist.
