I have a SanDisk Ultra II 2 Gig and i'd like to know if it will work with the SD-Card slots in the now MacBook Pro's. I've searched on google but haven't found anything.
Yes, I think so.
why wouldn't it?
It doesn't, nothing happens when I plug it in and I tried with a normal SD card and that worked fine.
Pretty sure that the sandisk extremes are SDHC (I have an extreme III and it's SDHC) so that may be the problem, unless it's formatted in something OSX doesn't like.

It sais it'a compatible with SDHC, and I don't know about it being formatted but I know exFAT isn't supported.
How do I find out?
If you have windoes installed you could see there I guess. (or a VM)
Have you tried the card in another computer, PC or Mac? Where did you buy the card, if it was ebay then it's very likely the card is fake and not made with quality parts, rather the cheapest and most prone to breaking.

It's a real card, bought it from the same place as the camera I bought it for.
It's probably exFAT. I'll have access to a PC with card reader on monday. Gonna see if I'm right then.
