Adventure of Cleaning An Old Keyboard - Hardware & Software

Well my keyboards been sticky for awhile so I thought I'd just clean it some. Note: This is a 5 year old keyboard and I usually eat stuff while browsing the webs. [B]Don't eat while your on the computer[/B], and maybe get a haircut because hair in your keyboard? Pretty disgusting. I've seen keyboards that are MUCH worse. To the point where I refuse to use the computer because of what could possibly jump out at me when I press the wrong key :tinfoil:

I just bought a used MPC keyboard ($3.88 fuck yeah), I haven't cleaned it yet. As filthy as it is now, I'm already typing 10 WPM faster than I was on my old keyboard. I imagine it's pretty nasty under the keys. No way as nasty as yours though.

I haven't cleaned out my G11 keyboard since I bought it back in 2005. I'm scared to discover what creatures lurk under my keys... Most likely hair, food crumbs, nail clippings, and assorted mutated furry monsters.

Guys, that's how I clean my keyboards. Open them, take out the electronics, stick 'em into the dishwasher.

I found out where I put my 200kr that magically dissapeared one day when I cleaned my keyboard.

I cleaned my keyboard a month or so ago and I swear to god there was so much dog hair in that thing, I could have made a wig.
