Besides from that what do you want or need from the keyboard? (media keys, number pad, background lighting, macrokeys, N-Key rollover...etc)?

From the uses you mentioned a MX Brown type keyboard seem like a nice all rounder.

You should definitely look into mechanical keyboards.

I'd take the Qpad MK-80 over the CM Storm Trigger because the Qpad has blue mechanical switches. If you can find a Trigger with brown switches, then it'd probably be better.

They're pretty much the same keyboard AFAIK with minor updates, except the MK-85 has red switches
