The premise of this game should have been more "Rainbow 6 Siege with melee weapons and ancient civilizations" instead of "Knights vs Vikings vs Samurai". Then it wouldn't be so weird if they added new characters that didn't belong to those 3 factions.

Yeah, also instead of a pseudoroman they should've made him a gladiator with like a manica and stuff so wielding just a gladius would make even slight sense :v:

In the lore established by the campaign, the knights faction originated from the Romans, which are at the time of the game's single player campaign believed to have died out, but the main antagonist claims to have met some of them in person. So they already set this up.
