Since I'm apparently no longer allowed to post things regarding my game and the opinions of people on them in the general games section, I'm here now asking people if this would be semi-realistic or feasible; An artillery with a device that rotates so that 3 shots can be fired in rapid succesion.
Basically think of it as a revolver but with artillery, could this work? I'd hope so because if so it'd be a cool addition to my game. :<
It'd be rather inefficient; You'd be better off with multiple barrels.

I don't understand how that's so? Please explain.

Having a rotating chamber to feed a barrel is unnecessarily complicated compared to having, say, several barrels. It is semi-realistic on smaller scales, as it's been done before and is still used now, but on larger scale artillery all it is is overcomplicated because there's little benefit to shooting a few rounds through the same barrel over shooting a few rounds through different barrels when you have to reload all of the barrels / chambers anyway.
I can't see the point. Artillery units are pretty precise. Firing three rounds (nearly) at the same target wouldn't make a difference. You would need to recalibrate the aiming to another target (while you can reload).
