This will probably be a very fun and good game but they should really remove any association with BIA from it.

Honestly I would rather have seen another BIA game like the first few. By that I mean with realistic characters, story, and gameplay, with a focus on tactics and strategy.
While this still technically is Brothers in Arms since its about four soldiers who are like brothers, I'm still a bit apprehensive about it.

This thing's cool, it's an old experimental Nazi design for a multi-barrled anti-aircraft rocket launcher. And up there you can clearly see one of their crazy experimental helicopters.

Let's look at this from a business standpoint.
They already had a WWII IP in existence, and thus they already had an IP they could use, and all the trademarks and shit that go with it. It was probably cheaper just to call it brothers in arms than it would have been for them to make a new IP.

Difference is red steel was utter shit and that warranted some major changes, and the sequel was much improved. seems like gearbox is flipping that logic around!
The game looks fine on it's own but it doesn't need to have such an over-the-top, crazy theme with a series title that boasts the opposite of just that. It's a bit backwards actually and if anything makes the series feel like a joke when most people will probably remember anything to do with BiA based on this crazy action game.
Remove "Brothers in Arms" and it'll be just fine. Some die-hard fans of the BiA series actually care about the integrity of the series.
