Anytime a sound plays, from windows 7 (not from a game/application) it makes a weird "dunt" noise after and before the sound plays. Kinda bassey. Example would be, after I open a folder you hear that "click" noise. It makes a weird bass noise after the sound ends. Opening the .wav file in any audio player, I don't hear it.
Can't describe the sound, kinda sounds like your turning your speakers on/off.

Sorry for the bump, but in my case the problem was my shitty jack in the back panel so i plugged my speakers to the front and that seemed to fix this.
