Where's the problem? All you told that you can't install w7, that's not enough
Sorry for not stating enough information about the problem . Well it boots the Cd . But the problem is when I go to install it always asks me to load the cd /dvd drivers . I even tried different builds and nothing . I hope this helps. ? And sorry again for not providing you with enough information . Anything else you may need to know ill be glad to to tel you. Thanks
Burn the DVD at a slower speed. If it still doesn't work your DVD drive is shit.
If it is what I am thinking of, then you can just skip or wait a bit and it will go away by itself.
You can also try flashing your DVD's firmware, that fixed it for me. The W7 setup is pretty shit in that regard.
Cool. I keep thinking my Dvd drive is shit . I have not broken it or anything. Can't I simply disconnect it and install it and connect it again later on ? It was burned on the lowest speed. As for the flashing the dvd drive I know nothing about that.
To flash the DVD drive's firmware, you need to find your reader's model number (You should be able to find this in the device manager), and you go on the company's website in the support section to see if there's a new firmware available for it.
oh alright cool ill check that out then. my computer is pretty old though.

Well XP and Vista worked fine, then 7 suddenly broken. I consider that pretty shit. ;)
