The press release declares that Code Vein is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios and will "release on major home consoles in 2018." There's no mention of a PC version. So why did Bandai Namco send us, PC Gamer, the press release? The most likely reason, I'm afraid, is that we're on a list that receives all of the publisher's press releases. But that doesn't mean there isn't a PC version is in the works. You know how publishers are. They love to hold out on announcing good things.
Either its going to be the standard "PC release a year or so after its all but forgotten about on consoles" or, combined with recently giving coverage to emulators because they happen to be able to run the latest hot console releases, PC Gamer is REALLY desperate for clicks. EDIT: As for the game itself/to not seem bitter and like I have a sudden rage against PC Gamer: can't really draw any conclusions based on whats known.
Super edgy teen animay tho....
Either its going to be the standard "PC release a year or so after its all but forgotten about on consoles" or, combined with recently giving coverage to emulators because they happen to be able to run the latest hot console releases, PC Gamer is REALLY desperate for clicks.
what It's not uncommon for game companies to send press release in bulk, sometimes they do forget about certain sites only covering certain platform but extra publicity is always good for them.
so this isn't the new from soft game then! from the screenshots looks like Dark Souls / Bloodborne combines in an victorian modern settning. but with anime characters. looks ok so far.
the artstyle is so terrible and uncanny that I really hope they pick a thing they want it to be [editline]20th April 2017[/editline] Imagine playing a semi realistic but styled game with monsters and then the main characters some asshole with an untextured fred flyntstone face
All the shine reminds me of Unreal Engine 3's earlier days. But I dig the way the game looks.
