I'm building a PC and I just the case, RAM (DDR2), and DVD burner.
Case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133094
RAM: Team 4 GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313079
Burner: LG Black 24X DVD+R: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136177
And one question, can I get 2 4GB packs and get 8GB or do I have a pack that has the 8GB?
Does someone have any suggestions or I'm I all set?
building as in a new system? what are you doing getting DDR2 for a new build, post the rest of it
what's this for that you think you need 8GB RAM
The reason I'm getting DDR2 is because I bought a DDR2 motherboard is it was originally for my other computer, didn't work and found out you need to reinstall windows which will make my Dad mad and that why I'm building a PC of my own.

What? What for?
When you replace a motherboard you need to reinstall windows, that what I heard.
And what's the problem with reinstalling windows?
return motherboard, might cost %15, get cheaper DDR3 RAM, and a cheaper motherboard.
