Ehh, never played any of the Batman games. But this is an ok practice IMO; I think games should be completed before they are released.
Asylum was good, City was better and the newer one was not that great.. probably a different studio working on it..

Yes it was a different studio that made Arkham Origins. While it is still canon, it is not part of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy(Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight).
All of 2014 best games are comming out in 2015.

Get onto playing Asylum and City; skip Origins.
I don't want to wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

I wouldn't say skip but wait for sale and if you have the time. It's not bad by far, it just doesn't bring anything new to the table.
