Of course Sony would say something negative about something exclusive to a rival
Good on you Sony.
Yes how dare they stop us from renting an EA game that takes a month to complete for 5 dollars
"PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200 percent since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price."
More like it's required to have PS Plus for online play now.

gj reading, they turned it down

And that's why bad reading needs to come back

EA aren't all that keen on console exclusivity anymore. They know the can make madder bank with all-platform. So this isn't Sony being angry they didn't have a chance to get it at all, it's Sony actually trying to keep some standard to their online service. From what I can gather, they're very apprehensive about requiring PS+ for online games, to the point that a developer can make their game exempt from the requirement if needed.
Except it is a good value? For $5 you can play and beat Dragon Age Inquisition or other games you may only play once that aren't worth $60
Don't forget, it's select games that will be free, so the chances are you'll get some of EAs shitter games while the newer games will just be discounted. Its basicly a crap season pass.
EA then claims the PS4 isn't powerful enough to handle it's games.
And the xbone is?
Sony thinks 29$ a Year for Free games, Discounts off DLC, Early Access to Big Games is not worth the value
But Sony thinks 29$ for 90 days of Ben 10 Omniverse 2 is

A+ logic sony, nice to know your intelligence keeps shining through

It's still impressive when you consider only one person has to have it and an entire house hold, all on their own individual profiles, benefit from it just the same without needing to also have it. I don't know if the Xbone originally had this but they do now

You wont be able to play Dragon Age Inquisition for free. This is EA, their free games will be Dead Space 1, Mirror's Edge, and a regional sports game from 3 years ago.

This was said in EA Access's announcement:
In addition to previously released games, the program will also offer access to new EA titles five days before their release, including Dragon Age: Inquisition, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15, and, of course, Madden NFL 15. Those who wish to purchase the full versions will be able to carry their progress right over.
Ah yes, a single example of sketchy pricing shows that EA access is suddenly good value! ?

I thought you had to buy the game to get early access, the news sites weren't clear on that.

It's hardly a single example, the PSN store is full of bullshit. The point is that the consumer is given the choice to buy it. Sony isn't the one who should be dictating the "value" of EA Access, they should be giving their customers the opportunity to.

Way to read the article yo
not like it says that they declined EA's offer or anything.

Ok, from what I can tell they allow you to have the 'old' games on their yearly cycle, basically the games that are about to become redundant in a month or two's time because the entire playerbase is going to flip over to an identical game that has more bugs and a fresh new torrent of dlc.
