• No stereo mix in vista?

First off, I build my PC. I'm using the onboard audio on my Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P. I've done the typical "Show disabled devices" solution and it's not there. I'm not sure if my mobo uses realtek audio so I don't know if I gotta download that. Help please!
I'm not sure what your asking so this may not be the right answer BUT: Did you just build this computer? If you did have you installed the drivers that came on the motherboard CD? (namely the audio drivers)
You usually need something like realtek audio drivers to use stereo mix. I'm using normal Windows audio drivers and I don't have stereo mix either.
Right click funny speaker icon in taskbar, choose recording devices. Right click somewhere on the list of devices. Check to show disabled devices. Right click greyed out Stereo Mix and activate it. Should do the trick. [editline]11:04PM[/editline] Okay fuck, rate me bad reading.
I don't have stereo mix in vista either. I installed a bunch of sound drivers, but the stereo mix doesn't work. Sort of sucks.
OP did you install sound drivers?
