To be fair I'm thinking the only part I will love is the Leon Back to roots T-virus section.

The animations look very well done.
I just cannot enjoy this game franchise with that fringe.
I am definitely going to try this game out.

Considering that that Capcom reckons it should continue in an action direction I think you're out of luck. Personally I don't really mind. I like the new RE games just as much as the earlier ones (with the exception of the classic enemies being absent, which looks like it will get fixed with this instalment).
Oh wait, RE4? Now I don't get what you're saying. RE4 was already more action oriented than it's predecessors.

Brink's release date got pushed forward by a week or two. Other than that I can't think of anything else.

Fixed.
RE4 was in no way a survival horror. There were occasional moments where you were worried about how much ammo you carried but they were few and far between. That isn't to say however that there weren't elements of horror, and regardless it was still a damned good game.
Also apparently [sp]the Ada in the trailer is a clone.[/sp]
