honestly AW was the best thing that's happened to CoD since MW and even then I'm amazed it's still even alive
CoD. I tried the free weekend. It was fun but I could smell the sell-out player rewarding too strong every time my screen filled with a million medals and crazy sound effects for one easy kill, that which was all luck too.

Also this is kind of a shame, if this game sold more than ghosts it probably would kind of tell activision the direction the series should go.
Heeding feedback, Kotick reportedly stated that the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise- helmed by Treyarch- would be returning to its more-wanted Modern Warfare roots.
Black ops 2 was a far better game in my opinion. I'm hoping Treyarch can top it next year.
Wonder if switching to a bi-yearly production rate would worth it, with more pronounced DLCs like Battlefield

I think the first Black Ops was the most enjoyable. Interesting 'Fight Club' styled storyline, simple and snappy multiplayer with healthy customization, DLCs that were (for the most part) really neat. Zombies, of course, was fantastic. Black Ops 2, imo, didn't live up to the first one. Not a bad game, but not that one. I might be looking through rose tinted glasses though, since BO1 was the game that all of my friends would slam our asses down in chairs, get on skype, and play party matches for hours on end. I might just be yearning for those days back, but hell on earth if they weren't fun.
I think in a lot of cases AW tries too hard. There's a lot of weird quirks to weapons, like some have the first few bullets at a higher speed, one shoots continuously slower but more accurate, and with the combination of the Exo abilities and movements, everything's just so hard to control and unpredictable. The community is about the same, I got called a dick licker by a hacker the other day. And also, the performance of the game SUCKS. Hitching, stutters and texture pop-in galore. It's great when it works well, but it rarely does.

I really wish more games existed in that time period... when I heard CoD had cancelled that TPS vietnam game I almost flipped a lid. I would have loved it so incredibly much. :(

Like, as if the colors were more washed out or something, I dunno. Still a very good game, but imo MW2 was far better. Everything else after (excluding BO1 and 2) sucked ASS.
Hope it slowly dies. I mean, AW might be good, but it is too little too late. I'd be sad if this game continues just because of this, there are many more better title which CoD is simply occupying volume of. AW might be innovative, but series need even more innovation to justify their revenues IMO. Making the same old silly game with new features here and there is fine, but not fine when this gains millions of dollars.
aw is the best cod since blops1 please go buy it and since they have another year of dev time i think treyarch's next one will probs be great
