Why is vuze only downloading one torrent at a time?

it's going pretty fast but it refuses to download multiple items at one time, is there any way around this?

Utorrent is the best (imo) p2p solution.. its only like 1mb anyway.

well there is legaltorrents.com or whatever, where there is a small, very very limited selection of free torrents.

To actually answer your question. Check the settings in Vuze. It may be set to only download one torrent at a time, or there may be a limit on the number of peers you can connect to.

But not all are legal.

Anyway, if you haven't opened the right ports and have the program use those ports, do that. I'm sure you can find a tutorial for it somewhere on the Vuze website. If you've already done that, check the setting in the program because something in there could be throttling the speed.

I also recommend changing programs because Vuze is a pile of crap. BitTornado or uTorrent are much better.

Don't really have anything to say that could help you there, but to the others that say it's a pile of crap it works. It has it's own browser-thing for torrents so I've gotten the majority of my music video collection from there.

i used to use it but then when it became "vuze" i got really shitty speeds from it even on well-seeded torrents. and then the browser stopped working.

also, its perfectly easy to just open your browser to browse.

maybe increase "maximum number of active torrents (download)" under queue options.
Just get uTorrent, Simple + easy.
