Get HW monitor to save the temps, it seems to be way ore accurate.
100 is very high, but not uncommon on laptops.
You might want to check for dust in the cooling fins though and always make sure that it can brathe clearly. (not putting it on a couch/bed etc)

Even for laptops 100C is dangerous. the TJunct of laptop CPUs (modern ones) is usually 100C, though the chipset is usually much lower.

I think it has something to do with his wireless card or router.
It's a laptop, they aren't made for gaming.
other than that, make sure that air inlets are free of dust. Don't put the laptop on your lap while playing games. Place it on a flat surface like a table or desk so it has proper airflow.
Also the source engine was updated recently, which broke Gmod. Could have something to do with it.
Also make sure all drivers are updated.
