[Android] Can't get fastboot to work

I'm trying to get fastboot to work with my Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (GSM) to install Cyanogenmod 10.
I've tried multiple drivers, but every time I enter 'fastboot devices' I just get an empty list. When trying to enter another command, 'waiting for device'. (Yes, the LED is glowing blue on my phone. I also hear the 'device plugged in' sound.)
I'm using Windows 8.

Probably something to do with Windows 8, you should find a pc that still has 7 on it and try it

Only Win7 PC I could use was my dad's, and that one is super slow, it took like an hour to get everything set up and finally enter that single fastboot command :suicide:
