Honestly I wouldn't mind if it went f2p simply to boost the playercount. The game is actually really fun, just dead.
Well there goes the interest I had in it.
I played during a beta, and it's fun and pretty well polished, but even then I thought it was going to be free to play and was a little disappointed when it wasn't.
It's definitely way more polished than Paladins though, so I suppose that could be a reason to not go f2p.
Maybe they should start by lowering the cost of the game and getting rid of the fucking microtransactions.
