Need help finding an article about a US soldier who snitched on his squadmates

This is kind of a longshot, but around a year ago I read a really interesting article written by an ex US soldier. He was deployed in Afghanistan or Iraq (can't recall) and he witnessed his squad members raid a civillian home at night and murder the people inside. When he went to try and tell his commander about it, the commander assumed he was lying and ignored him. The soldier was then stuck thinking that the squadmates he'd seen were going to try and kill him.

I'm thinking of writing a story and it was largely inspired by this article, but I can't for the life of me find it again. It wasn't a proper news article, more like a blog site, it was a couple pages long and I remember the site had a tan background. If by chance someone knows the article it'd be a huge help.
