Yep, they still play it, but it's quite annoying on steam, you keep getting kicked from servers for using steam's layout by punkbuster.

There are [b]TONS[/b] of people still playing BF2. You will not have a problem finding a game with your favorite map.
Project Reality is a must get if you get BF2. Very fun mod, cant get enough of it.
BF2 is still going strong and will be for the foreseeable future.

I owned it a few years back, but I lost the CD key and rendered the disc pretty much useless... Also how would one go about disabling steam community after the game is up?
