I have two Samsung SyncMaster 2343's that are 2048x1152 resolution. (here's my Speccy ATM) I was thinking of getting a third one from ebay because they are discontinued everywhere else. I'm also planning on getting a GTX 680 within two weeks. Here are my questions: 1. Can I run 3 monitors (they don't have HDMI) from a single GTX 680? 2. Should I get the 4GB 680 instead of the 2GB version? 3. Can I use a HDMI to VGA converter like this? Because the GTX 680 only has 2 DVI ports and 1 HDMI port. I don't know where else to ask these questions so I'd be glad if anyone could help me out. Thanks in advance!
I believe the gtx 680 has two dvi, one hdmi and one displayport. For the best image quality, you should use a displayport to dvi adapter. I'd get 2GB unless you plan on running two or more. The cards aren't powerful enough to run the needed AA and textures at that resolution which would need 4GB.
Will something like a 680 be able to run games on 3 monitors?

You can clone the screens obviously, and if the game supports it you would be able to move instruments to different screens in for example aircraft or train sims on multi view. Ah yeah, and don't even think about using VGA. It's such a shame.
