This is a thread where you post ideas, plot or things that should had happened in a movie/videogames
I'll start:
Gta game playing as a cop in a very corrupt city, you play both sides of the laws.
A movie about a female sex slave escapee from a mexican brothel going on a roaring rampage of revenge on mexican cartel after the murder of her mother, causing a uprising against the cartels from the once afraid citizens of mexico.
I want a game where you can parameters and a length and then it randomly generates a campaign for you to play through based on what you chose. That'd be really cool, but really hard to do probably.
I may have no experience, willpower, or intelligence but one day I am going to make this game. I've been thinking about this game for years now, and It will be made no matter what
I want a game called "Fuck shit up"
You play as a viking teleported into a modern city. It will be like Grand Theft Auto in the sense that you can roam around freely, but there are no missions, there is no currency, and the only goal is to fuck everything up. You go around breaking shit around the city, you can hijack shit and crash it into shit. I want there to be realistic debris flying everywhere like in Burnout. One of your weapons should be screaming. If you scream at someone hard enough, they become a viking too and assist you in fucking shit up. You can either be elaborate in fucking shit up, or you can do it the simple way. For example, you hear about a business meeting in the 20th floor of an office building. You can take the elevator up to the floor and burst in with your posse and fuck shit up, or construct a giant ramp of dead bodies and burst through the window on your motorcycle
You win when the entire city is rubble, you fucked all the shit up, or if everyone is a viking.
Fuck Shit Up! Game of The Year Edition
I imagine about poking around in GTA2 engine, updating to todays capabilities but leaving the feel of it and turning it into a zombie survival game.
I would love to see a game that is based in a post apocalyptic world, not zombies and more like Fallout. However it would be the entire planet simulated in a procedurally generated wasteland with terrain deformation, resource gathering, construction, 24 hour real time day cycle, single and/or multiplayer/co-op, working vehicles, and vehicles you can build. Basically just a giant open world where survival is the goal and anyone from players to NPCs could be dangerous or very helpful. There would be no story, there would be quests from players and NPCs, left over ruined cities from all over the world using satellite data to generate the city in its proper place and the procedural engine would generate broken buildings with rubble. The whole game would be about exploring the entire world while surviving, could visit landmarks like the pyramids, grand canyon, or Everest if you wanted to.
It is possible but the amount of work to get it done would take years. Not talking about that Universe game, that idea is just not going to happen for many years. What I am talking about would be like Fallout, Rage, Starforge, and Outerra all in one. There would be no mutants, just humans, there would still be animals in some places and in cities that weren't bombed or near major blast zones where there were zoos. If someone were to want to add mutants or other enemies there could be something like an in game editor that is sorta spore like and allows one to make lifeforms to release into the wild or add them to regions on the global map.
To me this would be a game I would love to play using something like the Oculus Rift. Just spending hours wandering or driving across Deserts/grasslands/swamps and just taking in the sights and exploring an entire planet.

what the fuck
after playing the avp 2010 multiplayer i think i know what this series is lacking: slow faced multiplayer.
Dont get me wrong, i love the gore and the action, but the clusterfuck in the mp is not what i had in mind. I would love something like this:
Big ass maps, jungle/ships or giant temple based, i dont care.
First, all the races have to be fully developed on their own, for example:
The predators should be the strongest of the three races, with deadly gadgets, deadly meele, actually working cloak and hard as fuck to kill.
The marines should have different classes obviously, with some sort of squad commands and motion tracker not attached to the hud, it should be a device on its own.
The aliens should have life cycle. thats the fun of it, and their sounds should be optional, like a console with them, i mean, they are silence motherfuckers, thats what it makes them so mortal.
The round should have a 64 player support: something like 25 marines, 35 aliens and 4 or 2 predators, the predators should be the most powerful, so they can kill entire squads of marines or big amounts of aliens at once, their objective is to hunt the biggest number of victims and recollect trophies, but they are competing with the other predators, so they can work with them if they feel like, or they can kill the other predators too (the biggest thophie should be another predator).
The marines should have different mini objectives, like searching for predator technology, rescue alien captured people, recollect data from destroyed military bases or stuff like that. They should be almost useless alone, easy to kill, but in groups they can smash big waves of aliens or be able to fight back a predator, so the spawn system should be squad based (MAYBE). If they get hurted badly, they should have like a 20 second time were they can get aired by another marine(maybe all the marines can help the other marines to get back on fight, but a medic should be the one that actually cures the hp of its teammates, every marine should carry a painkiller or something for the moment only)
The aliens must kill both predators and humans, and have the option to spawn in a lot of places with exclusive paths, but with certain distance of the enemy.Their main objetive is capture them when they are hurted to get them pregnant in their base (maybe the marines should kill the alien queen as a main objetive, although if the games are time based, after the queen dies, other one spawns in another place) so you can choose if you want to spawn as a drone or a facehugger, you can kill and search for victims as a drone alone, but in groups you should have more chances or getting the points. When you spawn as a facehugger, you can check in the spawn place if there are captured humans or predators, so you get an amounts of points for getting a human pregnant and the oportunity to choose different classes of more powerful aliens, and even better if theres a predator, you can be a pred-alien with unique habilities. If there are none, you can go as a facehugger with the drones and try to get an enemy pregnant on the field, but if they were fine, they could still play after the pregnancy. It would be a nice feature if implement correctly.
Something like that, sorry for the shit english.
Something facepunch themed
I've suggested it quite a few times before, maybe I can pull up one of those posts later
Poker Night at the Black Hole: Circlejerk Edition
Rated 18+ for Mature
It involves circlejerking. Scene graphics are better than Mass Effect/Dragon Age. You have been warned.
you know what? i dont know if its a good idea, but im sure if its well made I WILL GET MILLIONS.
Proper.Sex.Simulator.
think about it, how realistic can sex became if you spend millions and millions on a fully working sex simulator for creeps? including ALL OF THE STUFF YOU COULD IMAGINE.
May puke a few times making it, but it would sell like hot bread. Imagine it being an AAA title with lots of advertising and shit? it would be like for the people who buys the Sims just for the sex part, and actually DOING IT!
where is my kickstarter
Spore but much, much, MUCH better with Tons of things to do, from starting a tribe to creating an infestation species, practically anything you can imagine. That's my personal dream game.

without joking, if just a blowjob game did all that noise, imagine a full simulator, oh boy.
A movie called RoboDracula vs The Were-Mummy.
And if necessary to get the funding, they're in a sexy love triangle with some boring chick.
I keep saying this, a realistic version of STALKER mixed with a map the size of Europe. Top notch gun controls, keeping it unserviced will make it jam in different ways and realistic upgrades.
Your aimpoint might need some batteries to keep it working or you could have your barrel replaced for something a bit more durable.
Horses (expensive and needs food) and small jeeps for transport (gas is expensive and rare), special safe zones where players can trade, upgrade or rest.
Maybe some mini-games like a DM arena to get that cash flowing between players and to keep the COD kids happy.
Map is divided by zones and countries and controlled by different factions, each offering their own contribution to gameplay like special weapons native to the country you're in, level design and special quests that might have something to do with the history of the country. (Visit the Berlin wall or clean out an insane marksman holding up in the Eiffel tower.)
Monsters and zombies are rare, they mostly live in deep underground locations or abandoned buildings outside safe-zones.
Players are auto-friendly to eachother, when you attack another player for example a bounty will be tied to you that could turn YOU into a quest-goal. This also works as a kind of reputation, so for example you've murdered quite a few people and decide to hang with fellow bandits they could turn on you for the money and loot.
If you die you return to a safe-area (kinda like the bar in Shadow of Chernobyl) your weapons and armor will be damaged and your money has been reduced to half. You can ask for a loan from the AI but in exchange for that he will ask you to do a quest or pay it back within a number of days.
Weapon upgrades are realistic, no weird MMO stat/leveling bullshit to keep the game balanced, you want more damage done? Invest in better ammo! You want more accuracy? Invest in a longer barrel and better optics.
Quests can range from the usual kill-this-guy-over-there kinda stuff to finding warheads in a crashed plane or seeking for special artefacts in creepy buildings or woodlands.
Bounties can be handed out to players who have gone renegade or belong to a different faction.
The maps would be so big that finding other players wont be an easy thing, maybe have some kind of compass that sort of points in the right direction if the "enemy" is in a range of 1km?
Basically, this should be game centred on teamwork and trade.
If you want to shoot other people, hiding out in the wilderness would be your best chance of survival.
FUCKSHIT WHERE IS MY KICKSTARTER?
GOTY 2014.

Just. How?
Unless you procedurally generate the map.
Just. How?

Lets say your average country sized section of the map would be 2/3 times the size of Chernarus from ArmA II (as example of scale, not engine choice) , they can be tiled with loading inbetween border crossings?
How.. I don't know, it's an idea, maybe in 2/5 years we can actually do a full sized map without problems.
Maybe this would work better in a small coop sized rpg/mmo type game.. maybe 30 players max who you play regulary with?
As in the logistics. How are you going to design a map that big? It's unfeasible beyond all realm of possibilities unless it's procedurally generated.

Time and effort? Well then let it be procedurally generated I guess?
Thread title is: WOULD be awesome, not saying it would be possible right now.
But to keep walking interesting, yeah you'd need top notch level design.
A Dresden Files movie series that is made true to the books with good funding.
