I do recall the devs at Bungie saying Halo 3 would be the last game, and me being naive believed that shit.

It really depends on how they end it. I could see another Witcher game where you have a bit more freedom in shaping your character, perhaps a new witcher character?

Witchers live for a long time as long they don't get killed. He definitely won't be dying of old age or disease

What I mean is that he is the most famous and most skilled witcher. There's a reason his line is 'I'm Geralt of Rivia... The witcher.' and not 'a witcher'

Yeah but in the first game they said that the process to make real witchers has been lost. That's why Geralt is the only one who looks like a mutant in that game

But there is one more witcher they could use if you read the books, and arguably more important than Geralt in the books. And that's his sidekick Ciri.
