I have been using custom logon backgrounds since res hacker in XP. I have had dual monitors as well.
Does anyone know of a way to have a wallpaper or multiple wallpapers span across two identical monitors?
Even if it is just a mirror, that would be more than acceptable.
I'm tired of my right monitor being so dark every time I boot up :(
From what I know, it's impossible on anything higher than XP, but if you're on something lower, good news! Set logins to classic mode, and you should get a multi-monitor span (warning, you sacrifice fast-user switching)
I have disabled fast user switching and set my computer to "not remember the last user logged in"
This should have acheived what I wanted but I think I am missing something. Can anyone else get this to work? Even on Vista?
I am using Windows 7 Professional.
From what leach said its impossible on anything newer than xp. Ive tried Google but nothing came up.
Tartar sauce :(
