When Modern Warfare 3 comes out, will we all just say "BLACK OPS SUCKS"? - General

Serious question. Because it kind of seemed like with Modern Warfare 2, half of the people liked it, half of the people didn't, then when Black Ops came out we all instantly hated Modern Warfare 2 and loved Black Ops. I mean, is this just typical for everyone to rant on the last game when a newer one comes out? (Though, I must admit, Call of Duty 4 was the best Call of Duty there has been so far in my opinion.)

From what I remember, everybody hated MW2 before Black Ops was even announced.

Mw2 was full of hackers, boosters, and complete nerds, i never had fun playing the multiplayer on mw2

What's funny is that on Facebook a lot of people on my friends list are all saying "selling black ops". I guess it's because they can't do their MW2 stunts and shit.

In my opinion this is why people say a game sucks... 1) SWEET THE GAME IS OUT LOLOLOLOL 2)-pop in the game- LUL TIME TO PWN! 3) Horribly fail. 4)-next day- THIS GAME IS TEH SUX!

I don't like blops at all. mw2 is fun when you're not getting knifed from 3 miles away and noobtubed. cod4 is probably the best one because of it's simplicity. the lack of complete customization did really well for that game.

I hate both games, but it's like a fucking drug. It gets me fucking hooked each time.

I hate mw2 and blops because it went from 32 player med sized maps to small ass 16 player mp. Even on maps that are big enough, the player count is not enough

I'm not buying the next COD

People will say it sucks then spend a whole day playing it which contradicts their previous statement! Simply you would not spend the majority of your day playing it if you didn't find some kind of enjoyment from it otherwise, you're mentally impaired or trying to be "Kewl"

Black Ops is alot better than MW2 but still didn't live up to CoD4 and the earlier games. The maps... It's mainly the maps, they're so... unsided? In all of the CoD4 maps you pretty much had "one team here, one team here" and you had much less of the bullshit deaths and stuff.

Even if MW2 or Blops make me angry, I still enjoy playing them.

Brother buys game, "I guess I'll give it a go.". 2. Start up game, nearly every weapon and perk is locked, again. 3. Find out nearly every game mode is locked too, but to certain prestiges, not levels. 4. Find out I not only need to unlock shit, but buy it with in game currency too. 5. Same terrible game balance. 6. "Fuck that, if I want grinding and shit play testing I'll play an JRPG."

Fuck that series, I'll just stick to my UT3/BF2 thanks.

Last good CoD game was CoD4 all they seem to do is repeat the same things over and over every year to get money.
