In 20 years, I think there will no longer be a boundary between "internet" and other forms of media. At this time, there will probably be huge parts of the internet you'll have to "subscribe" to... like you do to TV channels, magazines, and newspapers. I don't think there will exist ISPs as they do today... I think rather there will be groups of internet sites you'll have to pay for to access, maybe they will be managed by an ISP-like entity. Also, News Corp will die, if they haven't bought an entire country yet.

Everywhere else will have advanced means of the Internet. The United States, on the other hand, will be thrown back because of a "Internet Safe-Switch" Law. Americans will revolt and attempt to over throw the government, though failing. So, the revolt will destroy the freedom of the United States and we will all be forced into work camps. Building rocket ships for the US Government to go to Mars, leaving everyone sitting in the work camps. I hope it'll be the same just a bit faster and with more features, at least with the same general content. I like my forums and video streaming.
